The meeting was founded as part of the Institute for Antiquity and Christianity at Claremont Graduate University, and previously enjoyed the support of Kate Cooper and her multi-year grant, Constantine’s Dream: Belonging, Deviance, and the Problem of Violence in Early Christianity. Andrew Jacobs served as the long-time steward until 2025. The gathering is generously supported by the Margaret O’Brien Flatley Chair of Catholic Theology, Boston College (David G. Hunter).
